Cheese road in Rokiškis

We are leaving Vilnius. We are coming to Rokiškis – the cheese capital of Lithuania. In the educational program, you will learn about the origin of the name of the cheese, the history of its production, and see the ethnographic tools of cheese production. You will watch footage about the technological processes of cheese production. You will taste five types of cheese. Education takes place in the manor house

After that, we will visit the Rokiškis manor house where the regional museum is located. It has about 60 thousand. exhibits. The museum has a manor household, unique woodworks by L. Šepka, and art expositions.

Later you will take a walk around the town if possible visit Rokiškis church. The church is the neo-Gothic, brick, rectangular, hall, with a 56.5 m high square belfry tower.
