DAY 1

Arrival to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Transfer to hotel.

DAY 2

During morning city tour you will explore the Old Town Vilnius, its main historical and architectural monuments including the Cathedral and University campus, Amber Museum - Gallery located in a quiet nook of the Old Town, the Gothic corner and Gate of Dawn, St Peter and Paul's Church and the Parliament.

DAY 3

A day free to enjoy Vilnius on your own. Take a stroll along the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town, stop for a cup of coffee in cafés or bars located in romantic courtyards, visit numerous souvenir shops for amber, linen, locally-made handicrafts which are inexpensive and will add to pleasant mementoes of a visit.
 
DAY 4

Transfer to the airport for a flight back home.

A visit to the Exhibition Christianity in Lithuanian Art featuring Lithuania's millennial history of Christian culture - paintings, sculpture, graphic, other works in the gothic, renaissance, baroque, neo classical styles, unique folk art works on religious themes. The focal point of the exhibition is the first public display of the Vilnius Cathedral treasure - a national relic lost for decades and found only in mid-1980s.

A tour to Trakai (28 km), the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania with the 15th century red-brick castle amidst the lakes. The Castle now houses a museum of history and art objects.

A full day excursion to Kaunas (100 km), the second major city in Lithuania, known for unique Old Town, interesting art museums, noisy and bustling pedestrian avenue "Laisves Aleja'' - the town's main shopping mall and eating-out place. Tour includes the Town Hall Square with its impressive Catholic churches and Theological Seminary, Ciurlionis Art Gallery and Devils' Museum.
